When Lady Gaga was five years old, she wrote her first song on her family’s piano. Who knew that 25 years later it would be up for auction and commanding an estimated $200,000?

On May 21st, Julien’s Auctions will be holding a memorabilia sale at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City, and that very piano that was purchased for $780 in 1966 will be up for bid.
The best part? A portion of the proceeds from its sale will go to the Born This Way Foundation, which was started by Gaga in 2012 to empower youth and deals with issues of bullying, poor body image, and acceptance and tolerance.
